Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how www.ovxov.com ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website and related pages (the "Site") or use our tools and services. It works together with our Terms of Use. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
For questions or privacy requests, contact mail@ovxov.com.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to information collected through the Site. It does not apply to third-party websites, apps, or services that we link to or that embed our content - those parties have their own policies.
2. Information we collect
2.1 You provide
If you email us (for example at mail@ovxov.com), we receive your email address, message content, and related metadata (such as time of delivery). We use this to respond and to operate our business, not for unrelated marketing unless you agree.
2.2 Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical and usage data, such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- Browser type, device type, operating system, language, and screen characteristics;
- Pages viewed, referring/exit pages, date and time, and similar usage signals;
- Identifiers associated with cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
We may use this information in aggregated or de-identified form where appropriate.
2.3 Tool input and browser-only processing
Many tools on the Site are designed to process your input (for example text, files, or numbers) locally in your browser. Where that is the case, we do not receive that input on our servers for that specific processing. If a feature sends data to our servers or to a third party, we will describe it on the relevant page where practicable. Third-party tools or embedded services follow their own policies.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our tools;
- Understand usage trends and fix errors;
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Use;
- Deliver and measure advertising or sponsored content if enabled (see Section 4);
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests;
- Communicate with you when you contact us.
4. Cookies, advertising, and analytics
We and our partners may use cookies, pixels, local storage, scripts, and similar technologies ("cookies") for purposes such as:
- Essential operation: security, load balancing, preferences that are strictly necessary;
- Performance and analytics: understanding traffic, popular tools, and errors;
- Advertising: as described in our Terms of Use, the Site may show ads or commercial content now or in the future. Ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, or personalize ads, limit frequency, and perform conversion tracking. Those partners may collect or receive information from your device as described in their own privacy notices.
You can control many cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or alert). Blocking some cookies may limit Site functionality. Industry opt-out tools (for example from advertising self-regulatory organizations) may offer additional choices where available. The Site does not respond to all "Do Not Track" browser signals in a uniform way because there is no common industry standard; we honor applicable law and the choices described in this Policy.
5. Disclosure of information
We may disclose information to:
- Service providers who assist us (for example hosting, security, email, analytics, or advertising), subject to appropriate safeguards;
- Ad and affiliate partners where we display ads or use affiliate links, as permitted by law;
- Legal and safety: regulators, law enforcement, or others when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Site;
- Business transfers: a successor in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, where permitted.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some U.S. state laws treat certain sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising as a "sale" or "sharing." If we engage in activities that qualify under those laws, we will provide the notices and opt-out mechanisms required by law (including, where applicable, a clear link or method to opt out of targeted advertising).
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information (for example HTTPS in transit and access limitations). No online service is completely secure; you use the Site at your own risk.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, security, and business requirements. For example, server logs may be retained for a limited period (such as weeks or months) and then deleted or aggregated. Email correspondence may be retained as needed to respond and for ordinary business records unless deletion is requested and we are not required to keep it.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact mail@ovxov.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. Your privacy rights (United States)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under state privacy laws, including (where applicable):
- Right to know or access categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold;
- Right to delete personal information, subject to exceptions;
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
- Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising, where those terms apply under state law;
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information in certain cases;
- Right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights. To submit a request, email mail@ovxov.com with a description of your request. We will verify your identity as required by law and respond within the timeframe applicable to your jurisdiction (often 45 days for California, unless extended as permitted).
You may also use an authorized agent where state law allows, with documentation we reasonably request.
10. Users outside the United States
We operate from the United States. If you access the Site from other countries, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred as described here.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, may post a notice on the Site or use other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
